Embracing Patience and Imagination

After our instructor noticed that many of us struggled with imagination last week, we continued practicing watercolour illustration, this time focusing on painting a house.
The pastoral-style brick house seemed simple at first, but I spent quite some time on the sketch. Given the freedom to outline the background instead of using watercolour, I aimed to complete it during the lesson.
However, once again, I ran out of time and had to finish the details at home. I carefully outlined the house, adding trees, bushes, and a stony walkway to the background. Finally, my painting felt complete.
I shared my final artwork on Facebook, where our instructor praised the improvement in its “illustration feel.” Some friends commented that the house exudes a comforting vibe. If my painting warms your heart, feel free to like and share this post. ❤️
Drawing and painting are arts that demand immense patience and are truly fascinating. Despite my efforts to finish within our 2-hour class, I often found myself adding the finishing touches at home.
Art isn’t just an easy alternative for those who shy away from conventional studies—it requires dedication, creativity, and a willingness to explore beyond the ordinary.
“Art is a journey of patience, where every stroke reveals a new layer of creativity and imagination.”
